For those who don't know me very well, I am Tracee Provis a mother of 3, married to the most understanding hubby on the planet, I also have a gorgeous Granddaughter who will be 10 this year. I live in the UK and share our house with our 2 youngest children, our 2 adorable fur babies Rodney & Peggy, along with our 16 year old cat Hilda, who is now as deaf as a post.
I love to create "stuff" I say that because I like to dabble in crafts of all types, but my "true love" is scrapping. I am often found squirrelled away up in my craftroom working on one project or another.
My scrapping style varies with my moods and you can always count on BoBunny to get your mojo started.

For my project I decided to make a hanging card for my eldest daughter who got engaged this Christmas
As the wedding is not until late 2015 I thought she might like to have this displayed for a little bit longer than a regular card.
I pulled out some of the gorgeous BoBunny blossoms to add that perfect touch to my piece.

For my hanger I used this black plastic hook that I saved from a pack of socks that I received for Christmas. I cut out a rectangle from a cereal box and attached papers from the Head Over Heels collection to both sides.
I love to fussy cut bits for my projects and I cut out a couple of the doilies from the "Date Night" and the "Amore" sheets. I layered them over some more of the papers and the long banner element from the "Noteworthy" embellishment pack. After I added my Blossoms I punched out some leaves in black to add a strong contrast to the flowers.

I pulled out some bling and carefully cut the centre out of one of the bling flowers which I then used directly onto the photo to frame and highlight my daughters beautiful ring.
There are 2 different alphabets on the combo sticker sheet and I used the red to put my simple title "yes".

My question is - How many dogs do I have?

Thanks for hopping along to my blog your next stop is the wonderfully talented

Bo Bunny - A Wintery Tale Minibook

Today I am up on the BoBunny blog with this Minibook created with the Woodland Winter collection.

I have wanted to scrap these snow day pictures for quite a while, but they never quite fit on a layout, a mini book is the perfect solution to have them all in one place. The Woodland Winter collection has to be my all time favourite winter collection in the most gorgeous shades of browns and blues

As owls are my favourite birds, this adorable image that I fussy cut from the 12 x 12 Cozy paper just had to adorn the front cover. Using double dot cardstock I cut my front cover and then I decided that I wanted the rest of my pages a little larger. The album is actually 5 x 6.
I cut some small strips in a banner shape and adhered them to the front in order to hide my Granddaughter's legs dangling out from under the smaller front page.
I love all the deer images that are on the papers and these pieces create their own little scenes which means you don't always have to add a lot to them before they look complete. I used the alphabet from the 12 x 12 Combo Sticker sheet to create my title.

To create my title for this page I used one of the chipboard pieces and added the word "man" to spell out snowman. The banners on the left are already printed on the page and look really effective. I cut some triangles out and stitched them to the top of my photo to carry them across the pages.

Bo Bunny not only make pretty papers and embellishments but they also  package them beautifully too. Here I used the packaging from the Woodland Winter buttons to create a mat for my photo.

I stamped out the numbers for my pictures with the It is Written stamp set. I added some of the cards from the Woodland Winter Misc Me range as well, everything coordinates so perfectly.

CSI case file 105 - Solved

I loved the palette for this week and once again had the perfect picture.

I had real fun with this one and come the end it was hard not to just keep adding little bits and pieces!
I love the weeks when we get the added bonus of a sketch from the very talented Em Stafrace of Page Drafts I couldn't wait to use it - I swapped out the 4 photos for 1 and placed my journaling over to the right. The chain running from down to the circle was used to represent the banner on the sketch.

Evidence
Stars
Circles
Book pages
Planets - My title has the word "planet" and my circles represent the planets
Stitching
Something Unusual - for this I used the metal from a wooden clothes pin and attached some chain from a keyring to the dangly circle
Speech Bubbles

Evidence
I placed some journaling in a frame.
The whole layout is about my son Josh and the peculiar things he says sometimes, almost like he is on a different planet to the rest of us.
Whilst losing at a game of mini golf he came out with These Golf Balls are rubbish, they're not even like Footballs(soccer balls. He also added to that thinks he is highly amusing and looks bewildered when we don't get "his" hysterical quips. . . I sure do love that Boy!

A close up of my journaling
Hope you will find time to check out the rest of the DT work, there is lots of inspiration to be found.
The deadline for completing Case File No. 105 is Sunday, January 19, 2013 at 11:59 p.m. EST.
So plenty of time to play along

Lucky Me layout

I am up on the Papermaze blog to day with my first layout of 2014
It seemed a good time to reflect on people that are no longer with me in this world but are forever with me in my heart.
My Grandad passed away at the grand old age of 94, he was a strong kind man and I am so lucky to have been known and loved by him.

This month I got some of the great Websters Pages Documented collection designed by Alison Kreft. The colours are slightly muted but also have a great fresh feel to them.
I started with a white cardstock background, coloured some texture paste and used this polka dot mask by That Special Touch around the page.
I cut up the  Remember When sheet and used some of the pieces to mat my picture and as part of my title.

I used some pink cardstock and cut the title on my cameo to which I then added white glitter and they are quite sparkly.

(which is hard to see in the photograph)
The 12 x 12 Sticker sheet has 2 different alphas and lots of stickers that are great for tucking in here and there, as I did along the top and bottom borders.
Finally I added a few simple embellishments, how adorable are the "tweets" & Speech bubbles wood veneers by Studio Calico? and great value for money as the packs are stuffed full.
All supplies for this layout can be found in the SHOP along with all your scrapbooking needs

CSI 104 - Solved

Case file 104
The colours were so pretty for this case file and my picture of Star on a snowy day was a great match but I wondered if a snowy layout would look good with the palette.

A mixed media background that happened partly by accident started me off and it came together quite quickly (for me that is) after that.

I was pleased with the result and I hope you like it too.

Testimony
Birds
Polka Dots
Hearts - rubon hearts
Alphabet
Fabric - felt thickers
Paint
Phrase sticker

Evidence
Frame your story
I used the stiched heart rubon to frame my journaling

Bit late getting this one up, but there is still time to play along with Case File 104.
