Loving Every Minute - with the new Bo Bunny Collections

This week a huge box of Bo Bunny goodness arrived on my doorstep, after drooling over it for quite some time I got stuck straight into playing with all the new products.
I Love the Forever Young Collection with its bright fun colours, and cute embellishments.

I have been waiting quite a while for some papers to match this pic of me and my eldest daughter sharing a cuppa together, this collection was a perfect match.

I used a piece of the Forever Young Love sheet to create my title and added some of the new alpha sticker sheets to spell out the rest of what I wanted to say.
I used the negative piece of a butterfly that I had die cut using one of the new Bo Bunny dies (the actual butterfly is on a card which I will share tomorrow) I love the layered chipboard embellishments that co-ordinate with the collection I even used one of the "O's" from the cut off strip as an embellishment in my cluster.

Along with all the new collections Bo Bunny has released some new Pearlescents and Stencils. I used the heart stencil and some Licorice Pearlescents to create my background (tutorial coming up next month), the Pearlescents give a lovely sheen and because the stencil is stickable it allows you to use a more liquid like medium without bleeding underneath the stencil and just making a splodgy mess.

CSI case file 154 - Solved

Hi today I am going to share with you the latest case file over at CSI and how I solved it.

This is the case file
I created a layout but then decided that I would like to use it for one of my classes that I will be teaching at Scrapstars retreat in April, so it was on to create version 2 which is very different from the first lol

Its always a bonus when your photo matches the colour palette of the case file and this one of my youngest and her partner on a wintery walk last week did just that.

Evidence
Polka dots
Stripes
Textured Paper
Metal
Leather
Use the Alpha as a design element

I have used a mix of old and new stash as usual (that's the great thing about the case files they inspire you to dig deep into your stash and use up some of those older supplies that you cant bear to purge)

One of the clues was to use the alphabet as a design element, using a Bo Bunny stickable stencil I used some crackle paste to create a love title (crackle paste is my new favourite medium to use).
I used a heart corner punch on some textured kraft cardstock and then handcut a photo corner from it.

Lots of layers is something I love to do on my layouts, I tucked the noted card into the layers and this is also where I placed my journaling, I have to confess that I didn't document using one of the prompts on this layout, I wracked my brains to create a poem of sorts but I was running short on time and so just wrote the details of the photo on my journaling card.

I hope you like my layout and I hope it prompts you to play along this week, we would love to see you there
