Creating with Sketches2

I'm so excited to announce that Kristine Davidson's Creating With Sketches, 2 is available starting today in e-book form!  The book has 60 pages, 55 designers and 125 sketches...chock full of inspiration! 

 

I am so happy to have been given the opportunity to be a part of it all, especially to be amongst such amazingly talented ladies

Here is my contribution (which is on page 16, along with the sketch I used)

 

 

I used MME Miss Caroline papers along with some wooden snowflakes by Kars

The camera was cut from an Amy Tangerine paper 

 and the chipboard ticket is by MME 

The arrows are Crate Paper and the diamond dotty border is Basic Grey

My Scraps & More sketchathon

My Scraps & More are having a sketchathon right now and I was in the mood to play with paper
Sketch 2 grabbed my attention straight away so I got to work and finished in almost record time for me lol
This was the sketch

 

Here's my interpretation

 

I used some older Little Yellow Bicycle papers from the Fresh Print collection

There was an added challenge to the sketch, you had to put 2 sets of 2 on the page. I used the arrows from a cut file in 2 sets of 2 across the chevrons

For the background I used some mists pens and machine stitching in a heart shape

Had great fun layering up all the scraps, using them all just as they were
