Bo Bunny cards

Wow where did June go?
I am coming to you today from sunny Maryland where I am spending a few weeks with my special friend Debbi Tehrani.
I want to share some cards I created using the newest collections from Bo Bunny, I always like to make at least one card with each new collection that they release. First up we have one using the Penny Emporuim collection.

This collection has a wonderful Steampunk theme and I had great fun fussy cutting elements from the papers and layering them up on the card. I also used one of the dies from the latticed frame die to the layers, adding some silver pearlescents as a paint gives a metallic look and feel to the piece too.

For my next card I used the Boardwalk collection with it's fun beach theme, I used both papers and the small 2 x 2 cards that come in the Misc Me pack that coordinates with the collection. I again used a die to add a border/frame on my card, this time from the Portrait frame set. A few pearls added the finishing touches.

And finally the super pretty Juliet collection, I love the way this collection enhances the delicate laser cut clock chipboard piece and gives a romantic vintage feel to the card. I added a gold foil rub on on top of the birds head to represent a crown, the rubons are super easy to apply and have the most beautiful sheen to them.

CSI case file 167 - solved

Despite my lack of shares I have been solving cases over at CSI, one of the reasons I don't share so often is, I wonder to myself, does anyone really read blogs much anymore? So much is posted on FB and if I am honest it is often much easier to hit like and leave a comment there than it is on a blog. Also I have yet to find a way to take decent pictures of my layouts and projects, the weather here is often so dull and my house isn't blessed with a lot of natural light, so if anyone has any tip or ideas they would like to share I would love to hear them.
I have recently set up a FB page for my crafty things and it's called It's a Creative Life if anyone wants to look me up.

So enough of my waffling and on with the case file, for this case file I used a sketch from My Creative Sketches

Bo Bunny have a new collection called Penny Emporium and it has this gorgeous Steampunk style to it that I am rather liking at the moment.

The case file looked like this

and the sketch looked like this

Evidence
Birds/animals
Metal
Transportation accents
Keys
Clouds
Circles

Testimony
Document a childhood friendship
As this is a page for my Granddaughter's Euro Disney album I am going to get her to write in her own words about the pictures and of her friendship with her best friend Laci.

I used some texture paste and a memory box stencil to create the background, I also used a cloud stencil and gently inked the clouds on in the pale pale blue from the palette. I found these cute Disney paperclips in my stash and I have no clue where they came from but they were perfect to add the Disney element into my page,

I did lots of fussy cutting from the Penny Emporium collection and I also got a chance to use some of the metal bookplates that I have been hoarding in my stash forever, a mix of old and new supplies always makes me happy.
I hope you will find time to check out the challenge over at CSI and take a look at the other DT pages there is some awesome inspiration to be had
