Birthday Gift Set with Bo Bunny Beach Therapy Collection

I have been having so much fun playing with the new collections from Bo Bunny, it is my Hubby's birthday tomorrow and I made this cute little gift set using the Beach Therapy Collection.

I decorated a premade paper bag, a shaker card and a cute little cracker gift box that I cut on my Silhouette. I fussy cut the Hawaiian shirts from one of the 6 x 6 papers that coordinate with this collection.

I used the Party Time stencil which has this fun circle piece that looks a little like bubbles to go along with the beach theme. I cut the word love using the Squared Dies set.

I cut the cracker box from the Getaway sheet and used the Oh My Stars stencil along the edges, ideally I should have done this before I constructed the box but because the stencils by Bo Bunny are stickable I was able to do this afterwards with no problems at all.

I made a shaker card using one of the frame dies cuts and some foam pads, I added some sequins and some glitter glass for the shaky part. I also used the Twinkle Twinkle die as a border across the card, I didn't waste the off cut stars from the die cut piece as I dotted these around the bottom of the card.

I am really in love with all of the new Bo Bunny CHA releases this time, can't wait to create with all the different collections.

Prorities layout for Papermaze

I am up on the Papermaze blog today with this post

Hi Tracee with you today, it's been quite a while since I had a project to share. I have used the Dear Lizzy Documentary for my page plus a couple of extra pieces from the shop.

I wanted to scrap this Selfie of me one day back in September when the sun was shining, but it was freezing cold and my priority was "staying warm"
I used both 12 x 12 sheets and the 6 x 6 paper pad from the Documentary collection, I also added lots of stickers from the sticker sheet (I am normally a look how pretty they are......can't possibly use them type of gal, but just lately my stash has been growing for this very reason)

The sticker sheet has a mix of colours from the collection with some touches of gold, I used the gold "priorities word sticker as my title and then some word sticker from the Bella Boulevard Little Bits range.

I couldn't resist adding the pink deer onto my page, he is just too cute! I covered some chipboard with one of the sheets from the 6 x 6 pad and then used my Big Shot and a Tim Holtz die to cut out the clock, which I used as a layer behind my photo.

I used the Happy Happy  sheet for one half of my background, I love how bold the squares are and yet because I have only used half it doesn't overwhelm the whole page. For the right hand side I used half of the Fancy Free sheet, which has a beautiful ombre watercolour type effect.
I didnt waste any of the cut out from the clock I die cut as I cut the circle in half and glued it to the sides of my page. Once again I layered up the stickers and added the yellow burlap flower I was sent too.

2 Crafty Chipboard Project Shares for January

I am up on the 2Crafty Blog today with some shares for January

You can find the post HERE

"Dogs Have A Special Way"

I have lots of projects to share with you this month including my Christmas table
centerpiece and my layout for the final challenge at Scrap Around The World .

My first layout features my precious fur babies Rodney & Peggy, amazing how still
and cute they sit when the photographer is holding a treat! This page was created using one of the gorgeous new Bo Bunny Collections Soiree.

The title chipboard piece is just the perfect saying,
"Dogs Have A Special Way Of Adding Love To Everyday",
and I love how it is made up of different fonts yet remains a single piece.
I decided to treat each part separately by adding various paints, inks and embossing
powders to them. I created the different textures by using paint and then drying it fast
with a heat gun, this forms a bubbly texture that is quite fun.

I think the "Heart Clumps" are one my favourite pieces in the 2Crafty range of
products, they are versatile and delicate and I love how they look on the page. I gave
them a coat of gesso and then roughly dabbed over them with some Prima Watercolour
Pencils, for some of the solid hearts I traced around them on patterned paper cut them
out and glued them on. My butterflies didn't turn out how I had envisioned them, which
was a pastel pink with some green flecks, however the colour was a match for my
papers and that was good enough.

"So Rad"

My husband & I play darts at the weekend and I had never hit a maximum score....
until this point, I was so excited that I had to snap a picture and of course
create a page to document it.

I took the word RAD from the "6 x 6 Motocross" themed sheet of chipboard, I inked it
bold red as I really wanted to make the statement reflect how excited I was. I layered it
over this wiggly arrow that comes in the "Funky Arrows" set, I painted the arrow
with some pearlescent paint in a silvery grey colour.

I wanted my background pieces to appear slightly old and a little grungy I dug out my
mica powders and added blues and reds to the "Gears & 6" Clock Face Frames" to
achieve the look I was after. I embossed lots of little stars in silver to add a little
more shine to the page.

I felt the layout needed something to the right to balance it out, I used some "Clouds" and
the other half of the "6" Clock Face Frame along with some of the elements in the main
cluster. I had a bottle of super heavy Gesso for Christmas (yes Santa is very kind and can
cater to my odd crafting wishlist) I tried to use and stencil to add the texture but this didn't
go so well and I ended up just spreading it over the chipboard and then dabbing it with
my palette knife, but I do think it gives them a sort of fluffy texture just like clouds, another
"Happy Accident" I added the word Enjoy to the cluster and it finishes it off just nicely.
