Couple of mothers day cards

One for my Mother
She likes greens so this was some older dream street papers, I handmade the little roses and the word Mum is on acetate, I stitched around the panels to give a bit more texture

And this one for my Mother In Law

My MIL likes more blues so this is some very old paper adventures paer that I have had since I started scrapping, same layout same handmade flowers & stitching but i didnt use acetate on this one and I glittered around the edge of the word Mum
Hope you like them
I do!

CCG 185

Decided to play along this week at CCG Nice bright colours and inspiration from the patchwork skirt in the pic was all it took for me to create this

I used papers from October Afternoon, Cosmo Cricket and I'm not sure of the other one lol
Scrufts is a discover dogs dog show for X breed dogs and we have been going for the past 3 years. It's a lovely day out at Westonburt Arbouritum
I used bits and pieces from various manufacturers inc thickers sandylion, prima e line flowers etc
I stitched around each picture and in between to create a real patchwork look

Scrapaholix march

Well it was a funny old day full of ups and downs, still thoroughly enjoyable tho.
I struggled with my LO this time fiddled and farted about with it when I left Kims I thought is looked ok and was finished but inevitably when I got home I changed a few bits and now I quite love it lol
The pics are of my nan & grandad with my Mum and Auntie when they were small girls on the ferry to the isle of Wight!
Thanx to Claire I actually had some letters for a title as I must have been sleeping when I packed my bag cos there were lots of things "missing" lol

Couple of LO to share

This one was using BG june bug papers that I forgot I had. If you look close you can see Peggy stood on the wall that adjoins next doors garden LOL
and this one was using my Echo park paper from 3 diff lines
I went to a boot sale on sunday and picked up a couple of white doilies I cut it apart and dyed it to match the paper (tho for some reason it has photographed bright red which its not!)
The background was created using a pizza box with the top paper torn off and then painted & stamped(just wanted to see if it would work lol)
Hope you enjoy looking

Very Pink

While sorting out I came across these BG Bittersweet papers I have had them out before with no inspiration so this time I forced myself to be inspired lol
This is what I came up with, quite nice but very sickly pink lol

CCG 182

Love love the palette at CCG this week & I have printed this pic of Me Leon & Josh out in about 4 different formats this one was the "sepia" one and just went so nicely with the palette
Here is my LO

This was the palette
I didnt use any patterned paper but upcycled some old clothing & bits the fabric and the cotton lace flower were from a skirt, brown paper, some hessian, and the buttons (apart from the one with the stitched flower on) were from my great grandmothers button tin, the flourish in the corner was pink paislee, I tied up a very fine string of beads to make the little knotted flowers peeking out, stamped some butterflies and a bird onto acetate, the larger of the pins I added some beads & all the other bits were from my stash
Hope you like it
