June Scrappy Chics

You wanna check out the June kit from Scrappy Chics this month, Melinda has put together a great mix of papers and embellies. I got to work with the main kit this month and here are the cards, notebook & bookmark I put together with it

 

I love this Pink Paislee paper from the Indigo Blue range, it's one of my favourite colour combos. I added glossy accents to the dots on the cover of the notepad, the notepad itself was a cheapie from Wilkinson's and I just covered the front. Can you spot the deliberate mistake on the bookmark!! (I stuck the Jenni Bowlin labels on upside down lol)

The pretty ribbon made a neat border across this card, I added the pins and hand stitching, also got to play with one of my new Die-namics small doily dies (I can see me using these a lot!)

 

I made this card for Leon for Father's day from the dogs!! and did you know they always buy him a pressie too!!! I used the new Amy Tan jar stamp (another that may well feature on lots of projects in the future) plus I recently got these dog stamps in a stamp lucky dip that I purchased, how cute are they?
