Happy Days with Pebbles & Paper Issues

I am up on the Papermaze blog today with this post. I also played over at Paper Issues "Scraplift Sunday"

Hi Tracee with you today to share a fun page I created using the new Pebbles "Heart of the Home" collection.

Another 8 x 8 page to add to my "Debbi & Tracee's Great Adventure album. We visited a little town in MD called Rock Hall a very quaint little town. This is a photo of us on Main Street, the Heart of the Home collection was perfect for it!

I used some texture paste and a stencil on my background, I kept it white to give a more subtle effect. The houses on the sticker sheet were perfect to frame my photo with, I also added the little bird and positioned him so that he looks like he is watching us having fun.

I used the From Me to You sheet that has lots of Tags for you to cut apart. I layered them up and added some string to the holes. Some simple punched leaves here and there completed my page. I also used the little triangles that were in between the tags as an extra embellishment for the tags.

This was the lovely page that I scraplifted over at Paper Issues

Hope you have a Happy Scrappy Day!

CSI case file 238

There is a brand new case file over at CSI and another page for my Debbi & Tracee's Great Adventure album.

Here is the Case File

And here is my take

When I visited with Debbi we took Selfies wherever we went. Debbi has an all singing all dancing selfie stick that has a remote control, so when we looked back on this picture the question was "Did I press the remote too soon or was Debbi holding the stick wrong?" Whatever the answer we laughed til we cried at this resulting shot.
I used this Sketchy Saturday sketch from Paper issues as a starting point for my page

For my Evidence I used
Animals
Eye Glasses
Leaves
Twine
Use Coloured pencils
Text Print
Googly Eyes
Enamel Dots
Book Plates

I used lots of different alphas for my title most of them older, the "Taking" word is a 2 Crafty Chipboard piece. I really did pull out my older stash, the bird on a branch and cloud stickers are from a 2012 summer collection by Echo park. My Testimony is "Tuck your journaling inside something but make it visible" I wrote on a tag and tucked it in the side of the photo, the journaling reads "Lost for words at our ineptitude for taking selfies, but all is not lost - we are the queens of outtakes"

I find myself stitching on almost all my pages and this time I did lots of vertical zig zag lines, they took me ages! The bookplate is by Stampin Up and I filled it with embellishments including a cute little monkey brad that I got from Hobby Lobby the previous time I was visiting with Debbi.

I hope you will find time to play along with this case file
Happy Scrapping
