Lets get shabby challenge

Loved the inspiration from the DT over on the let's get shabby blog so decided to play along
Have recently got my new printer up and running so decided to scan in some of my older pics that I dont have copies of. I found this one of Josh in the bath when he was about 8 - 12 months old and loved how it looked printed in black & white
The challenge was to use 3 things from your sewing box 1 of them being pins. I used
2 decorative pins
3 safety pins
a white popper type thing that was in a sewing kit I have
a cross stitch floss bobbin
jeans pocket
the beaded starfish was off of an old broken hairgrip
and a couple of pieces of cotton lace

"Happy tickets" from House of 3
grommets by WRMK
Vinyl thickers
alpha beads & ribbon from stash
I inked and distressed and misted all over
and stitched it all together on my sewing machine
Absolutely loved creating this and am very pleased with the result
Hope you like it too
