Cosmo Cricket Circa 1934

The December GDT challenge at Sketchy Thursdays was a real brain teaser for me but I really wanted to give it a go
This was the sketch
and after dreaming about it then 5 hours deliberation, this is what I came up with

My Nov scrapbook nook kit had the new Cosmo Cricket Circa 1934 range and boy this paper is lush. This Lo doesn't even begin to show you how georgeous it really is.
The other part of the challenge was to use at least 5 photos and a little sparkle I added a few gems to the centre and some on the butterflies. I am really pleased with how this turned out in the end.

MME Andre Victoria

I have been very naughty and a couple of weeks ago I signed up for the kits at My Scrapbook Nook well the kit arrived on Weds and it is lush. Included were a pack of the georgeous MME Andre Victoria range
Here is the LO I created for the challenge over at the MME Blog
There was a sketch with the theme of "Lessons Learned" & I have learnt that life is so much better with my 2 hairy mutts in it
All pp is MME
the brads are from the lost and found range
the little gems are from the Bloom & Grow range
alphas from AC & Kaiserkraft
I bought some crepe paper and made a little rose with a brad centre with it
Hope you like it

Kraft it up challenge

This months challenge at Kraft it up was "decorative edges"
I tried "cheeseholing"(sp) with my big bite I quite like the effect
a scalloped punch edge and some doodling aroun the circle at the bottom
I distressed all the edges and added a small cluster of embellies at the bottom right of the pic
The papers are MME wild asparagus of course on a kraft background
Here is my LO

quick off the mark

Have been flying through LO's this week luckily I have been off sick from work and my arm hasnt hindered me too much! bonus lol
The new palette for CCG went up this morning and I have had fun inking and painting and flocking all over the place
Here is the palette
& here is my take

My inspiration from the pic was yikes my lounge looks all worn out & grubby compared to that one and that was how it rolled lol

Skissedilla challenge 85

Found another great sketch challenge blog Skissedilla
As it was youngest DD's birthday yesterday we spent a pleasant few hours in the craft room scrapping the same pic but different sizes.
I wanted to use the sketch for challenge 85 at Skissedilla but we both used the same PP
this was the sketch & here is my take

The Color room #31

Am starting to love color challenges again so have been giving them a whirl this week
The pallette at TCR this week was this
and here is my take

Used AC pp, thickers, a 3bugs in a rug chipchatter sticker for the title and a little fussy cutting and some bling

Scrapping the music challenge

Have scrapped tons of the girls and never seem to get many pics of Josh, I like this one I managed to snap in the summer(plus he's not pulling a daft face so double bonus!)
the song for the challenge was Keep the Faith by Bon Jovi. The title is a bit of a sarcastic one as anyone who knows Josh will know he is anything but wayward lol
No pp used just some chip chatter alphas and some mesh as a mask and paint
The gears are a sizzix die

The best present

Decided to use some of my bargain SU papers (sweet pea) to create a christmas LO using non christmasy papers. Love the bauble punch that I borrowed from a friend (I shall have to get one of my own now lol)

I followed a couple of challenges for this LO and decided it was about time I used some of my many stamps on a LO the swirls were Autumn Leaves and the title was papermania, I got all misty and flicky and I hope you like the result!
These are the challenges I used

Color combos galore
