CSI case file 14 - solved

I was very excited when Debbi asked me to be a Special Investigator at her great colour challenge site C.S.I.
Thank you Debbi, I am thrilled to be here
This was the case to solve

And here is my take on my first case file as special investigator #14
I wanted a sort of patchwork effect  with lots of sanded & distressed edges. I was so happy to finally be able to use the "Blessed" title as I have been hoarding it for ages.
 Evidence used was
Ruffles - I used an edge punch and then ruffled it and tucked it under various parts of the layout
Animal accent - the birds on the bunting and in the cage
Wet Medium - I inked all the edges and used some paint on the blessed title
Something sand like - I glittered the flowers that are tucked under the title
Create Waves - the bunting I thought looked like waves!
Sanding Technique - I sanded along the edges of the darker background paper before distressing
Testimony - I wrote a Haiku which is written on the "you" tag tucked behind the photo and it reads "From the very first day" "you have been a sweet blessing" "Life is now complete"
A couple of close ups
The title and glittered flowers
My Haiku

The front of the tag
Hope you will play along this week
