Scrap 365 & CSI case file 24 - solved

Been a while since I played along at CSI but this weeks palette was so inspiring I just had to try and solve it
This was the case file
And here is how I solved the case
I used this sketch from Scrap 365
Evidence
silver accents - Brads and small silver plaque (behind the pink rose)
 jewels - bling
sparkly things - bling
use gesso to white-wash your paper or elements
use circles

Testimony
Write 3 interesting things about your subject.
I tucked the journaling behind the pic, as you can see I hadn't planned to do it this way but it was the way it ended up lol
I found a pot of texture paste in my stash, it says on the label that it expired in 2010 but I had never opened it and it worked just fine with a drop of black acrylic paint and a brick mask, why is it when we create a cool background we end up covering most of it up again? lol
In case you are thinking I have forgotten the red it is there, the tiny polka dot paper has got red polka dots on!
I tried the punch distressed edge that I have seen on a few layouts and I must say I love the effect!! Thank you for the inspiration ladies!
This is another page for my "Baby Girl's" 21st album. I'm doing quite well so far I think it's 8 pages and her birthday isn't until Feb 2013!!!
Had real fun with this case file, why not go check it out HERE for yourselves you won't be disappointed
