And still more sugar & Spice
This time an 8 1/2 x 11 layout Pencil lines had a new sketch up
It was sketch 227
I cut the BG smaller and then had the scalloped border hanging over to make the size back up (make sense?)
The are my 2 dizzy blondes at their dizziest!
I glossy accented the foam thickers and added glitter
I had one piece of the pinky floral left it had a few holes in the middle but I cut it up and streched it out lol
A couple of the circles made a simple embellie on the side

Scrapaholix kit take 2
A couple more layouts made with March's kit using the Sugar & Spice range from Dovecraft (I reccommend it lol)
I had a terracotta glimmer mist that worked well with this paper as long as it wasnt to heavy a spraying.
I mucked up the loopy border in the bottom right corner so I cut out an oval scallop from the template I cut a smaller oval from the creamy paper and stamped it with my french script stamp from SU the chippie letters I spritzed with a cosmic shimmer mist and then utee'd themI even printed off some computer journalling & the crown was cut on the cricut and them inked and utee'd again
I'm not sure if this one is "joined" properly with the 2 pics it looks cuter in real life
Just some misting fussy cutting and some thickers & gems

Tinkle Tinkle
Was our local Scrapaholix group yesterday which is one of the highlights of my month
I wasn't looking forward to using this months Dovecraft papers before I got there, but what a pleasant suprise although they were only single sided thgey were much better quality than I had imagined (sound a bit scrappy snobby there LOL)
There were 6 sheets from the sugar & spice range, had great fun cutting into them and came up with a LO that I am very pleased with.
The pic is a very very old one that I took from a slide and it's me about 6 tinkling on my piano (and I have to say it a good job there is no sound with this pic cos I was terrible at it lol)
Thankyou as always to Kim for making the day a complete pleasure
Anyway enough with the waffling here is my LO

More Studio Calico
Some of the papers in this months Studio Calico were quite "not me" but I decided to come out of my comfort zone and tackle them lol
I popped over to XOXO to lift one of this months layouts. I chose to lift Ana's LO as I was inspired by the paper placement that I thought suited the papers I was using
Here is my take on Ana's LOMy youngest on her 18th birthday last year
Everything apart from the mist & blue thickers was in the kit, wish I had got some add ons tho!
Would appreciate your thoughts on this one as I'm really not sure about it

Watery Fun
Decided to bite the bullet and dip into my Studio Calico kit
I have quite a few pics of Rodney on the beach and there were lots of blues in the kit so I decided to go with that. I used Sketch Inspiration #208 and came up with this!
Hope you like it

I splashed some actyllic white paint around then when it was dry I used some bubble wrap and versamark champagne its got a bit of a glittery sheen to it that I thought reflected sand. I recently bought some rectangular doillies in the What shop, there are loads of them in the pack for 79p , I used one behind the pp, the white thickers are from a Scrapbook Nook kit a couple of months ago and I outlined them with a brown fineliner, I made the circular embellishment with some of the pp lace and a brad (also from What 12 for 90p!)I painted a white patch over the pictures added some jute and a jolies anchor sticker with a bit of twine tied onto it.I had a bag of seashells from who knows where added some loose threads from the jute to them in a little cluster.
Whew I think thats the longest description I've ever done LOL.

Scrapjacked again
There were some great layouts to lift this month at scrapjacked I chose Bec's layout as I loved the stamping behind the picture and the lacy borders.
I also combined the lift with this weeks colour palette(179) at CCG
Had fun creating this using Teresa Collins blush range punched borders and basic grey stamps
Here is my take on the LO
