CSI 80 - solved and a little announcement

First I will share my Happy News
I have just joined the Design Team over at CSI - what an honour to be amongst such a talented group of scrapbookers!
 Debbi's a great inspiration to me (as well as  great encourager, if that's a word) how could I resist joining her & the team.

So as you know Debbi and I are scrapping the pictures of the time we spent together and this week my layout features us up to one of our many daft antics, this time in Michaels with some wood frames.
This was the case file, along with a great sketch from Em Stafrace

Inspired by song/lyrics

My husband has a very different taste in music to me but we have a playlist that has shared music on it and a band he has recently asked me to add is Daft Punk, the track is called Beyond this was playing while I was scrapping the picture and this line was inspiration for my title

"The perfect song is framed with silence, it speaks of places never seen"

The inspiration words Bliss, Summer & Easy are all words that come to mind when I look back on my trip.

I used my new triangle mask with some texture paste in a strip on the background, I also added a sub title "The Art of Sillyness" using alpha stickers by Authentique and Lily Bee

 

I got quite a few new flair buttons from Etsy now the challenge is to actually remember to use them!
