Sketchbook 365 August reveal

I totally missed posting this last week, don't know how lol
It was the August sketch reveal over at Sketchbook365
 
A fairly simple sketch that was open to interpretation

 
I stayed quite true to the sketch and liked it plain and simple
 
I added some details along the top edge using some strips of paper and machine stitching. The "well look at that" and other word embellishments are by Teresa Collins

 
I mixed a few different alphas for the title

 
Whilst in the USA I bought a paint splat stamp by hero arts (I think) it's a bit cheating but it creates the perfect splatters!

There is a ton of inspiration from all the DT on the blog, hope you find time to check it out and you have til the 8th of August to play along for the chance to win a fab prize from Maja design
